Köhra Manor

A manor in Köhra is first mentioned in 1479. At the beginning of the 16th century, the owner was the von Zehmen family. After this, ownership changed to the von Pflugk family, to the von Minckwitz family, in 1555 to the von Schönfeld family, in 1622 to the von Schulenburg family, in 1682 to the von Ponickau family, in 1782 to the von Rex family, in 1785 to Johanna von Hopfgarten, in 1792 to the von Uechteritz family, and in 1852 to the von Schönburg-Waldenburg family. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. The manor house was demolished - apartments were set up in an outbuilding.
