Lower Castle Bobingen
History of the Building+
The castle was built in 1543 by Anton Welser the Younger. In 1760, it was renovated in the Baroque style. In 1937, the municipality of Bobingen acquired the castle and used it as a kindergarten. In 1955, the middle school was temporarily housed in the building. In 1984, the castle was renovated and now serves cultural purposes.
