A manor house is already mentioned in 1185. In the 13th century, a moated castle was mentioned. In 1572, the seat was referred to as a knight's estate. In the 18th century, ownership passed to the von Stammer family. Renovations of the castle took place in 1749-1750 and 1911. In 1945, the owners were expropriated and expelled by the communists. The castle was restored in 1983 and 1988.
