To be privately owned
Voglsang Castle

Voglsang Castle (Ennstal) is located in the municipality of Losenstein in the district of Steyr-Land in Upper Austria (Laussa Straße 73).
The castle is also called Matuschka Castle after its current owner. In the land register, the building is registered as "Hammerschmiede im Tal" (Hammer Mill in the Valley). The first owner mentioned is a countess who lived around 1778; a painting of her is supposedly in the vestibule. Baron von Voglsang owned the castle for 25 years. Then it came to Hannes von Matuschka from Lindach Castle near Roitham.
The castle is situated on a hillside, and a private road leads to it. The retaining wall is flanked by a corner turret. The castle is elongated and consists of two building sections connected by a gatehouse.
