Ulbersdorf Castle
Since the village was founded, Ulbersdorf was a manor. The village was first mentioned in a document in 1443. A plaque on the building reveals that the house was closely connected with a line of the von Lüttichau family: "Ida von Lüttichau (1798-1856) particularly enjoyed staying at the Ulbersdorf manor. She was one of the most important women of German Romanticism". The von Lüttichau family also owned, among other things, Gut Gamig and Prossen Castle for a time. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Ulbersdorf Castle today houses the municipal office and is in impeccable condition.
