Uhenfels Castle

Schloss Uhenfels+
Einleitung+
Hofmarschall Ernst Wilhelm Friedrich von Hayn had Uhenfels Castle built in 1872, after his father had already acquired the Uhenhof. From 1899, Siegmund G. Warburg's parents, Gabriel Warburg and Lucie Warburg, lived there. The lively social life ceased with their expulsion in 1938. The estate was "Aryanized" in 1938. In 1941, the castle was sold to Franz Fuchs and in 1958 returned to its owners, the Warburg family. In the same year, it passed into private ownership. A visit is not possible.
