Teleborg Castle, an impressive structure reminiscent of medieval castles along the Rhine, is located near Växjö in the Swedish region of Småland. Built around the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, it originally served as a romantic wedding gift.

History+

Count Gustav Fredrik Bonde had Teleborg Castle built around 1900 for his wife, Anna Koskull. The architecture of the estate was significantly inspired by the historic castles of the Rhine Valley. In 1964, the city of Växjö acquired the entire property for 3.7 million Swedish Kronor.
