Sauerbrunn Castle
Schloss Sauerbrunn+
Schloss Sauerbrunn was built between 1547 and 1552 by Franz Teuffenbach over a mineral spring and was converted by him in 1567 into a hospital and poorhouse foundation. The north and west wings are partially demolished; the bastion-like tower at the south corner has a tent roof and was built around 1600. On the east side, above the round-arched entrance portal, the Teuffenbach coat of arms is displayed. A wooden coffered ceiling is preserved on the first floor.
