Baugeschichte und erste Nutzung

The two-story plastered building with a hip roof was built in 1740 by Johann August von Anhalt-Zerbst. The castle changed owners with the extinction of the princely line of Anhalt-Zerbst (1793) and Anhalt-Köthen (1847). From the mid-19th century, the castle served as the ducal forest ranger's office. Only in 1923/24 were apartments set up again, which were used until 1986. Today, the castle is no longer inhabited or used.
