Prantseck Castle

Prantseck Castle is a former castle in Bad Aibling. It was built by the Lords of Prant in the 16th century as a new noble residence above the Hofmühle. However, the noble family died out shortly thereafter, so the estate changed owners several times in the following centuries. It was expanded in the 17th and 18th centuries. Its castle park dates from the 19th century.
Prantseck Castle served as a spa clinic for several years. In addition, there is now a public indoor swimming pool, which is operated by a community of interests. A possible conversion into a retirement home is currently being discussed.
