Poltringen Castle
The castle was first mentioned in 1191 owned of the Lords of Poltringen. 1283 the castle was destroyed and rebuilt thereafter. 1290 the ownership changed to the counts of Eberstein. 1565-70 the castle was rebuilt. 1605 the property transferred to the Barons von Wolkenstein, which enclosed the castle of 1608-12 in its current form. 1702 of the property transferred to the barons of Ulm Erbach and 1966 to Alfons Böthin.
