Oeffingen Castle

The Schlössle of the Lords of Neuhausen was built in 1717 as a two-story, rectangular solid building with a large vaulted cellar. In 1827, the building was extended by one third to the west on the rear side with a half-timbered construction, and a second upper floor was added, also in half-timbering.

The building, now almost square in plan, with a new staircase housed in its extension, is topped by a mighty hip roof. The building, which was used as a town hall and school until 1912, was then converted into teacher's apartments.
