Hotel

The Oberambach estate is located in the municipality of Münsing on Lake Starnberg.

The farm was first mentioned in the Imperial Archives in 1476 and belonged to the property of the monastery of Schäftlarn. The provost of the monastery left it to the local farmers for cultivation and use. In 1574, the property transferred to the Bernried monastery.

On October 18, 1869, Franz Freiherr von Lobkowitz and his wife Marie Therese acquired the estate for 9400 guilders and developed it into a manor house. The current, listed building was constructed between 1903 and 1907.[1] Under the then owner, Baron von Kleydorff, the house became a meeting place for artists, writers, and free thinkers.

Since 1991, the estate has been a hotel.
