Mittelalter

Schloss Neuneck was built between 1230 and 1260 above the village by the Lords of Neuneck. In the Middle Ages, the castle consisted of two parts, the Upper and Lower Castle. From 1658, the castle was demolished. Today, the Upper Castle has completely disappeared. Of the Lower Castle, a small residential keep with a shield wall still stands, which is used as a café.
