Die Anfänge
Das Schloss wurde um 1400 durch die Herren von Reitzenstein erbaut. 1452 wechselte der Besitz an Hans von der Grün als markgräfliches Lehen. 1596 kam der Besitz an die Herren von Waldenfels, welche das Schloss renovierten. 1699 wechselte der Besitz an Wilhelm von Beulwitz. Ab 1820 war das Schloss unbewohnt. 1910-12 wurde es umgebaut. 1947 wurde das Schloss nach einem Brand renoviert. 1999 wechselte der Besitz an Wolfgang Uhl.
