Neuenhagen Castle

Schloss Neuenhagen was built around 1575 by the von Uchtenhagen family in place of an older house. At the end of the Uchtenhagen rule, the house passed into the possession of the sovereign. It was used as the official residence of the newly established domain. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After 1945, the house was simplified and restored. It is thus the oldest preserved secular building in the northern Oderbruch.
