Nagel Castle

Schloss Nagel+
Geschichte+
When the castle in Nagel was built is unknown. In 1625, Hans Heinrich von Künsberg bought the property from Wolfgang Heinrich von Redwitz. Around 1700, a large castle chapel was built. In 1805, the drawbridge and the outer tower were demolished. From 1856, the castle served as a widow's residence for the von Künsberg family. From 1857 to 1858, extensive renovations and demolitions took place, and the castle moat was filled in. In 2008, the Vormbrock family inherited the entire property.
