Mühlingen Castle
Mühlingen Castle is a manor house built at the beginning of the 18th century in Mühlingen in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg.
After Johann Philipp Jakob Ebinger von der Burg acquired the local lordship of Mühlingen in 1698, the noble family Ebinger von der Burg built Mühlingen Castle in 1730. There are suspicions that a medieval spur castle had previously stood on the castle hill.
In 1731, the Ebingers von der Burg sold the local lordship to Hans Andreas and Johann Georg von Buol-Berenberg. In 1773, the interior of the house was expanded in the Rococo style. The Barons von Buol-Berenberg remained the landlords until 1805. The building is still owned by their family today.
