Der Markgrafenbau+

The three-winged Markgrafenbau above the Wildbad, also called Fürstenbau, was commissioned by the last Margrave of Ansbach, Christian Friedrich Karl Alexander, and built by the margravial building conductor Carl Christian Riedel as a hunting lodge (1789 - 1790). Since 1975, the city of Burgbernheim has leased the Markgrafenbau to the "Freunde Markgrafenbau" association under a long-term hereditary building right. Thus, with combined efforts, it was possible to preserve the historic building.
