Frühe Geschichte
Die Hofmark Maierhofen wurde 1591 von Abt Gregor IV. von Prüfering erworben, unter dessen Leitung das Schloss um 1600 in seiner heutigen Form umgebaut wurde. Später im 18. Jahrhundert ging das Anwesen an den kurfürstlichen Architekten Henrico Zuccalli in München über. Von 1772-1805 wechselte das Anwesen zu Anton Wilhelm von Fabris. Heute ist das Schlossgelände in Privatbesitz.
