Lindenberg Castle
Lindenberg Castle is a manor house in the Lindenberg district of the town of Tauche in Brandenburg.
Lindenberg Castle was presumably built from a late medieval predecessor. In the 17th and 18th centuries, it belonged to the von Beeß and von Kracht families. A well-known representative of the von Kracht family is the former chief captain of Küstrin Fortress, Hildebrand von Kracht.
In 1903, the castle was bought by the Rhenish entrepreneur Wilhelm Colsmann. Colsmann commissioned the Berlin landscape architect Ludwig Lesser to redesign the park grounds.
The last owner of the castle was the Cologne banker and later CDU politician Robert Pferdmenges, who received Konrad Adenauer here in 1937, among others.
Today, Lindenberg Castle is only partially inhabited.

Lindenberg Castle is a baroque two-wing building. A room with central pillars and a staircase from the late Middle Ages are still preserved.
