Ludwig von Polheim erected the moated castle Lichtenegg in the middle of the 16th century, which had to be sold again in 1642. In 1726, Imperial Count Georg Josef von Mannsdor had it redesigned by Wolfgang Grinzenberger. After the castle was damaged in 1944, it was rebuilt after 1945 and now houses apartments.
