Construction and Early Years
The castle was built in 1768 by Heinrich Ludwig von Lersner. In 1845, an expansion and renovation took place. In the 19th century, the Lersners bred noble horses on their estate. Today, the private Anna-Schmidt-Schule is housed in the castle.
