Laurenburg Castle

Laurenburg Castle is located below Laurenburg Fortress in the area of the municipality of Laurenburg in the Rhein-Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The simple, small castle was built as a summer residence on behalf of the Princes of Anhalt-Bernburg. The three-winged building comprises two floors and housed, among other things, the mining management of the Holzappel mine, a subsidiary of the Stolberger Zink company. Today it is a residential home for people with disabilities run by the Diakonie-Pflegeheime Scheuern.
A visit is only possible from the outside.
