Die Geschichte des Schlosses+
Die Anfänge
In the early 16th century, the castle was built by Duke Wilhelm IV. It remained in the possession of the Wittelsbach family until 1760. From 1763 to 1784, the castle was owned by Johann Georg Dominicus von Linprun. In 1803, the filial church was demolished. In 1860, ownership changed to Prof. Dr. Heinrich Ritter von Ranke, who had the castle rebuilt in historicizing forms. From 1934, the castle has been owned by Josef Witt from Weiden i. d. Oberpfalz.
