In the middle of the village of Laudenbach lies the castle, which was built between 1717 and 1747 by Josepha von Eyb, the widow of Lieutenant General Field Marshal Reichart von Fechenbach. The main building consists of two two-story wings meeting at a right angle. The castle chapel was built in 1755 by Titular Bishop Johann Philipp Karl von Fechenbach. The castle complex is situated in a picturesque park with rare trees. From 1315, the Imperial Barons von Fechenbach were the lords of the castle for 600 years. From 1923 to 2001, the castle was inherited by the family von und zu Aufseß. Today, Carl Friedrich zu Löwenstein is the new owner of the castle.
