History+
A castle was already mentioned in 1293 as the property of Albert von Schwarza. In 1494, ownership changed to the Lords of Buchenau, who built the castle in the 16th century. During the Thirty Years' War, the castle was destroyed and rebuilt in the 17th century by the Lords of Langenschwarz. In 1834, the third floor was removed. In the 19th century, the round tower was demolished.
