Kroisbach Castle

Kroisbach Castle, also known as Haignitzhof, is a castle in the eleventh district of Graz, Mariatrost. Kroisbach Castle is located on the western slope of the Graz Plateau and in the Mariagrüntal valley. It was built between 1650 and 1655 by master builder Domenico Rossi for Count Abundio Inzaghi in the Baroque style. Under the Counts of Galler, renovations took place in 1694 and in the 19th century. In 1965, the west facade was restored.
Kroisbach Castle is a rectangular building block with two stories and two inner courtyards. A single-story wooden roof turret with an onion dome is attached to the west wing. Noteworthy are a round-arched stone portal and Biedermeier stoves from the second quarter of the 19th century in the southeastern corner room.
