Krippach Castle
History+
The castle was originally a manor farm of the Prince-Bishopric of Augsburg. From 1454 until today, the castle has been owned by the Lords of Kripp, who called themselves Lords of Krippach from 1529. In 1670, 1671 and 1689, the castle was severely damaged by earthquakes. In 1701, parts of the castle collapsed. From 1709 to 1711, the castle was rebuilt in its current Baroque form.
