History of the Building+
The history of the building is closely linked to the history of the village of Kreba. The first mention of a manor in Kreba dates back to 1409. The manor was owned by the von Gersdorff family for centuries. The manor house was built around 1750 and rebuilt in 1806. In 1850/1860, the orangery was built in the landscape park.
After the von Gersdorff family, other owners included the von Bischofswerder family and the Counts of Einsiedel. From 1913 to 1936, the manor was owned by the Barons von Schlotheim. Since 1939, the manor has been owned by the municipality of Kreba and has housed a school.

Current Use
