Kogl Castle

Kogl Castle (Ennstal) is located in the municipality of Laussa in the district of Steyr-Land in Upper Austria (Koglerstr 10).
The castle was once a farm, which was expanded into a castle by Baron Colonel von Voglsang. Other owners mentioned are: Josef Magerle, Karl Hesse, Karl Fiedler and Josef Altmann. In 1891, Max Strobl von Ravelsberg bought it. In 1930, it came to Dr. Tomke, who sold it to Mr. Untersinger in 1960. For a time, the renovated castle housed the guesthouse "Schloss Kogl"; today the castle is uninhabited.
