To be privately owned

The castle is a two-story, seven-axis central building with slightly recessed side wings. It is located on the edge of the village on a hill above the Schwarze Röder. Formerly, a Vorwerk (outlying farm) belonging to the electoral office of Radeberg was located here, first mentioned in a document in 1517. Elector Georg II elevated the estate from a Vorwerk to a Rittergut (knight's estate) and handed it over in 1656 to the Privy Councillor and bailiff of Dippoldiswalde, Georg Ernst von Döhlau, who built the manor house and later castle. The last owner before the expropriation by the communists in 1945 was Hans Fleischer. After 1945, the castle housed the community library and a kindergarten. Today, apartments are located here. At the courtyard gate, which originates from a barracks in Dresden's Albertstadt and was installed here in 1920, the coat of arms of King Albert of Saxony can still be seen today.
