Die mittelalterliche Burg

Möglicherweise überliefert Haus Keyenberg den Standort des befestigten Prümer Herrenhofes. Im 12. Jh. war es Sitz eines gleichnamigen Geschlechts, vom 16.-18. Jh. landtagfähiges Rittergut. Im Laufe seiner Geschichte war es in Besitz zahlreicher Familien, u.a. im 16./17. Jh. derer von Zours. 1832 Verkauf an die Bürgermeisterfamilie Velder, deren Nachfahren es heute noch besitzen.
