History of the Building+

Kattau Castle is a four-winged, three-story complex around a rectangular courtyard, surrounded by a former moat. In the northeast, northwest, and southwest, squat corner towers with pyramid roofs rise. The west wing has collapsed. A castle in Kattau is mentioned in documents in 1343. The castle was built in the first half of the 17th century.
