Idolsberg Castle

As early as 1163, Ortholphus de Idolsperge and Bruno de Zidolfsperg are mentioned as owners of the village in Idolsberg. The castle was built in the 16th century on the walls of the old fortress. It was destroyed in 1618 and subsequently rebuilt. From 1784-90, the castle was expanded. After a major fire in 1835, the castle was rebuilt.
