Schloss Hoyos was built between 1670-74 by Count Johann Balthasar II von Hoyos. In 1718, it was expanded into a three-wing complex for Joseph Philipp Innozenz, Count Hoyos. In 1818, the castle was converted into a four-wing complex for Count Johann Ernst von Hoyos. In 1900, the mansard roof was added. After severe damage in World War II in 1945, the castle was rebuilt.
