Hanstein Castle

The Hanstein Castle+
The Hanstein Castle is located on the eastern edge of the old town. Its origins date back to the 15th century, where it is documented as the property of the von der Tann family, so important for Ostheim. Expanded in the Renaissance style at the turn of the 17th century, it was owned by the Hansteins between 1687 and 1754. Today, after extensive reconstruction, it provides the appropriate architectural setting for the Organ Building Museum. Further information about the Organ Building Museum can be found here.
