Granheim Castle

Granheim Castle is located at the northern end of Granheim in the direction of Frankenhofen. Granheim is a district of the city of Ehingen in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg.
The castle was built on the site of an older building (first local castle) in the 15th century by Baron Johann Baptist Nepomuk Speth von Schülzburg. It was renovated in 1776 and remained in the possession of the Barons of Speth zu Schülzburg until August 2004. The castle has a three-story layout with a mansard roof. The castle and the associated properties have been solely owned by Marietta Baroness von und zu Massenbach since August 2004.
