Graffeln Castle

To be privately owned

Graffeln Castle is located north of Wewelsburg, a district of the city of Büren in the Paderborn district, in the Alme Valley directly on regional road 751.

The building was constructed in 1910 and 1911 as the manor house of an estate belonging to the von und zu Brenken family. The main building consists of a single-story country house on a high plinth, covered by a mansard roof. The three round towers at the corners of the building are reminiscent of the architecture of Wewelsburg, which is only a few kilometers away. A large part of the former garden is now overgrown.
