Grafenstock Castle
The town hall of Erding, popularly known as "Grafenstock", was built as a castle by Johann Warmund Freiherr von Preysing-Moos (1567–1648). The castle came into the possession of the Counts of Seinsheim through marriage and into civilian hands in 1797.
In 1825, the city of Erding acquired the building, and from 1866 it was used as the "New Town Hall". Portals and coats of arms were only added to the previously rather simple property in 1912.
From 1891 to 1917, a branch of the post office was also housed in the building, as was the Erding Local History Museum until 1985.
