Bau und frühe Nutzung

The castle was built in 1756 by Prince Johann Adolf von Sachsen-Gotha as a two-story core building with a mansard roof and roof turret. However, it cannot be ruled out that there was a predecessor building at the same location. Adjacent to the building is a park with a "tea house" and artificial tower ruin. At the beginning of the 20th century, various alterations were made to the castle. Today, the complex is in private hands.
