CastleDörzbach
Eyb Castle
The former moated castle of the Lords of Berlichingen, who moved into the center of Dörzbach in 1371 and replaced the original Lords of Torcebach as local rulers, was built in the 12th century. In 1601, the castle was bought by the Lords of Eyb, who still own it today. The castle complex includes both the inner castle courtyard, framed on four sides, and the larger outer castle courtyard, surrounded by farm buildings.
