History of the House+

The house was built in 1904 by Prof. Dr. Alfred Dührssen as the hunting lodge Sankt Hubertus. The owners of the castle until their forced expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945 were the noble family von Mitzlaff. After this, the house was used, among other things, as an educational institution. In 2000, the Heller family bought the property and renovated the house. They have been running a guesthouse since 2004.
