Crailsheim Castle
Crailsheim Castle in Rödelsee, a municipality in the Lower Franconian district of Kitzingen (Bavaria), was built around 1600.
The two-story building with a gabled roof, volute gables, and an outdoor staircase was built around 1600 for the Barons of Crailsheim. The courtyard gate is adorned on both sides by lions from the 18th century.
In 1954, the regional winegrowers' cooperative purchased the castle and its outbuildings. Today, the Franken winegrowers' cooperative operates a wine gallery in the building. The winery operations were relocated to Repperndorf years ago.
