Die Anfänge
Der Backsteinhof der ehemaligen Aachener Patrizierfamilie Colin wurde vor 1400 erbaut. Im 17. Jahrhundert trug man einen Teil der Anlage ab und erweiterte den Bau. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde der Nordwest-Turm abgerissen und das Schloss teilweise erneuert. Heute dient das Schloss als Jugendherberge.
