Die Anfänge und die Familie von Lobdeburg

Hermann von Lobdeburg, Lord of Elsterberg, was the first documented Lord of Christgrün. In 1742, the Old Manor House was built after a fire destroyed a previous building. In 1823, the house was renovated. From about 1742 to 1827, the estate was owned by the von Hühnefeld family. From 1827 to 1945, the estate was owned by the Freiherr von Hühnefeldt Family Foundation. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Subsequently, it was converted into a state-owned farm. Since 2000, the property has been owned by the Goldbach family and has been used as a residential and commercial building since 2005.
