Die Ursprünge und frühe Entwicklung
Das Schloss wird bereits 1437 im Besitz der Grafen von Giech erwähnt. Der hohe zweigeschossige Bau mit Pultdach und zwei Turmanbauten wurde 1525 im Bauernkrieg zerstört und hiernach wieder aufgebaut. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde das Schloss neugotisch verändert.
