Angesiedelt im Dorf von Bourdigny, erstreckt sich dieses befestigte Haus aus dem 15. Jahrhundert im Herzen der Reben, auf ein Eigentum von mehr 16' 000 m2 aus. Es gehörte zum Lehen der edlen Familie von Bourdigny. Napoleon III, hat dieses Schloss haeufig in der Winterzeit aufgesucht.
Im 20. Jahrhundert war das Chateau de Bourdigny ein Internat. Es waren viele Kinder dort aus aller Welt. Die Schule wurde vom Franziskaner Kloster mit Hauptsitz in Lyon geleitet, mit a. W. ein katholisches Internat welches aber jede Religion aufnahm.
