Schenkenberg Castle (Ruin)

Schenkenberg Castle, also known as Schenkenburg, is a ruined castle near the municipality of Epfendorf in the district of Rottweil in Baden-Württemberg.
The castle was built in the 14th century, mentioned in 1312, and was owned by the Schenken von Schenkenberg family. The remains of a residential tower are preserved from the former castle complex. The keep had a base area of 12.2 by 11.1 meters and the curtain wall had a thickness of 2 meters.
