Oberburg Castle (Ruin) (Driedorf)

The Oberburg Driedorf is a castle ruin in the municipality of Driedorf in the Lahn-Dill-Kreis in the Westerwald.
The castle, built from 1305 onwards, was destroyed after several fires, most recently in 1812, and was not rebuilt.
The Driedorf Oberburg, with its ring wall and five towers, connected with the town wall. Remains of this can still be seen today on the upper tower, the northeast tower.
